A buddy and I recently visited Frilford Heath as we were looking for somewhere playable in mid winter (12/01/2024). The club house and Pro Shop are both very nice and all the staff were very friendly and polite. The red course was in great condition considering all the rain of late and we all found the course a good challenge and would certainly recommend the mid week winter deal were you get a bacon butty and hot drink thrown in for £55. Now, our group did have a few gripes - Firstly, although we had been given a tee time, there is no tee times as such! This means the 1st tee had 15 to 20 people or stood in the freezing cold waiting to tee off, this obviously is not ideal in the depths of winter and a waste of peoples time getting there for an allocated time, given when booking, as this time means nothing in reality! We actually arrived at the 1st 15 minutes prior to out slot and tee'd off 15 minutes late, so had to stand around watching other go off in the cold! Also, the on course signage is poor and it is easy to get onto the wrong course, as there are 3, mid round. Finally there is a lack of bins on tee's, only a silly gripe but as this is such a nice course and venue its something we felt let it down.

A challenging but fair course. Good mix of holes. Rewarded length at times and accuracy at others. Tee boxes, greens and bunkers all at a very high standard. Overall a fantastic facility with helpful and friendly staff.

Well manicured course with undulating greens (Blue Course) Lovely clubhouse with attentive staff. Well stocked professional shop.

In terms of quality golf, value for money and great service it’s hard to find a better contender than frilford. I played all three courses and enjoyed each one. The food was great, the staff very professional and polite. Goo play there, simple.

My husband and I had vegan high tea here, if was absolutely fantastic. Such a pleasant experience and really affordable. We will definitely be having it again here. So pleased they were able to cater for Vegans. Lovely after a round of golf.

This is a really top quality venue played the Red a JH Taylor course with such character and personality a real pleasure loved it. Facilities are excellent around the clubhouse which is bright and open. Large reasonably flat putting green. Range is a drive away. Nice outdoor dining spots on verandah and lower at green side. Will visit here again.

3 courses are quite good, however the condition of the fairways wasn't really up to standard for a course that's over £100 a round. Clubhouse food is of a high standard.

Great golf club, with good variation. Sporting 3 full 18 hole courses, kept to a very high standard. My only real complaint would be the bunkers are a little short of sand in places, however I hear that this is to be addressed in the near future. Staff are brilliant, friendly and very knowledgeable. Coaching is to a very high standard, with a no frills grass range, immaculately kept practice putting green, and multiple short game chipping areas. Prices seem very fair in the restaurant/bar, again with very friendly and professional staff.

Amazing golf experience, we played 18 holes in Feb 2018 on the blue course and don't think in the current weather conditions it could have been much better, will be back over the summer, we'll done :-)

A superb golf complex. A modern proshop with twoswing studios, complete with two foresight quads. All major brands available. Top notch courses including a par 3 course. Tasty food as well
